Policy Statement:

Tidy Cleaning Solutions (Tidy) recognizes the importance of providing company vehicles for our drivers to perform their job responsibilities efficiently and safely. This policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for the use of company vehicles.


1. Authorized Drivers:

1.1. Only drivers who have a valid driver's license and have been authorized by Tidy may operate company vehicles.

1.2. All authorized drivers must maintain a clean driving record. Any violations or accidents must be reported to the management promptly.


2. Vehicle Usage:

2.1. Company vehicles are to be used for business purposes only. Personal use of company vehicles is strictly prohibited unless expressly approved by management.

2.2. Drivers must adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.

2.3. Unauthorized use, reckless driving, or using company vehicles for illegal activities will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.


3. Vehicle Maintenance:

3.1. Drivers are responsible for the regular maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine servicing as per the manufacturer's recommendations.

3.2. Any mechanical issues or damage must be reported immediately to management.

3.3. Drivers must keep company vehicles clean, inside and out, and ensure they are fueled for their shifts.


4. Reporting Accidents:

4.1. In the event of an accident while driving a company vehicle, drivers must:

   a. Ensure the safety of all involved parties.

   b. Report the accident to the local authorities and obtain a police report if necessary.

   c. Inform management as soon as possible, providing all relevant details.


5. Safety and Security:

5.1. Seat belts must be worn at all times while operating company vehicles.

5.2. Vehicles should not be left running unattended, and they must be locked when not in use.

5.3. The transportation of hazardous materials is strictly prohibited in company vehicles.


6. Alcohol and Substance Use:

6.1. Drivers are prohibited from operating company vehicles under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any controlled substances.

6.2. Random drug and alcohol testing may be conducted.


7. Compliance:

7.1. All drivers are expected to comply with this policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

7.2. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.


8. Acknowledgment:

All drivers who are authorized to drive company vehicles acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this policy.
