This checklist is a guideline for our cleaners and can be adapted to suit the specific needs and preferences of each client. It is important to ensure that the services provided meet the high standards of our cleaning company and leave our clients satisfied with a clean and well-maintained space.
Room-by-Room Checklist
Kitchen:
- Clean the exterior of appliances, including the refrigerator, stove, toaster, blender, etc.
- Clean the inside and outside of the microwave.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
- Sweep and mop the floor.
- Clean and sanitize countertops and backsplashes.
- Clean and sanitize the sink and faucet.
- Wipe down cabinet exteriors.
- Wipe down the kitchen table and chairs.
Bathroom:
- Clean and disinfect the toilet, including around the base and under the seat.
- Clean the shower and bathtub: Remove soap scum and grime.
- Clean and polish mirrors.
- Clean and sanitize all bathroom fixtures, including the sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower.
- Wipe down bathroom surfaces.
- Empty and clean the trash can.
- Replenish toilet paper, soap, and hand towels (upon request).
- Sweep and mop the floor.
Living Room/Family Room:
- Dust and clean all surfaces, including electronics and decorative items.
- Vacuum and clean upholstery and cushions.
- Vacuum and clean under furniture and between cushions.
- Clean and dust electronics: TV, speakers, gaming consoles, etc.
- Clean window sills/frames.
- Wipe down light switches and doorknobs.
- Sweep or vacuum the floor, depending on the floor type.
- Fluff and arrange cushions and pillows on the sofa.
Bedrooms:
- Strip and replace bed linens, including pillowcases and duvet covers (upon request).
- Dust and clean all surfaces, including nightstands and dressers.
- Clean mirrors and windows.
- Wipe down light switches and doorknobs.
- Sweep or vacuum the floor, depending on the floor type (including under the bed).
Home Office:
- Dust and clean all surfaces, including electronics.
- Clean computer screens and keyboards.
- Wipe down light switches and doorknobs.
- Vacuum or sweep the floor.
Additional Areas:
- Laundry Room:
- Clean behind and underneath the washing machine and dryer.
- Wipe down surfaces.
- Entryway/Mudroom:
- Clean and organize shoes and coats.
- Sweep or vacuum the floor.
General Tasks:
- Clean and dust baseboards.
- Clean light switches and doorknobs throughout the house.
- Refresh windows and window coverings (curtains, blinds, etc.).
- Vacuum or mop all floors, including corners and edges.
